Conservation is where we started
We didn’t pivot into this space, we grew up in it. With a background in zoology, fieldwork, and direct support for wildlife NGOs, conservation is not a cause we picked up. It’s how we began.
Nature is not a niche, it’s the reason
We don’t work with brands that “also care about nature.” We work with organisations that exist because of it. This isn’t a market segment for us, it's the whole reason we’re here.
Strategy evolved from wildlife documenting
Years of documenting wildlife shaped how we think, see, and communicate. That visual storytelling turned into strategy, and now powers campaigns that carry the same clarity and care.

A studio inspired by the wild

Hey, I'm Niels, and Blue Toucan Productions is the result of my years working in the wild and behind the screen.
I started out studying animals, photographing them, and working hands-on with wildlife NGOs across Asia, and Europe. That world gave me meaning. But I also saw how hard it was for these groups to reach people, get funding, and stay visible.
So I shifted. I learned digital marketing. I got into ads, analytics, strategy, the things that help stories go further. Not to sell just anything, but to support people and projects that actually protect our planet.
That mix became Blue Toucan Productions. A creative studio that backs nature-first organizations with sharp strategy, visual storytelling, and digital campaigns that get real results.
And the name? Toucans are loud, social, and they stand out. Just like a good message. I chose something bold, a little wild, and rooted in nature.
